Pre-holiday reception: Ten families of fallen soldiers receive 100 KM each

In the Centar Municipality today, on the occasion of the great Catholic holiday of Christmas, a traditional reception was held for members of ten families of fallen soldiers who were members of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina of Catholic faith, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

At this gathering, symbolic monetary donations were presented to the members of the families of fallen soldiers. In addition to Nedžad Ajnadžić, Chairman of the Centar Municipal Council, the reception was also attended by Slaven Kovačević, Deputy Chairman of the Council, Jasna Beba, Secretary of the municipal administrative body, advisors Mustafa Resić and Adil Katica, and assistants to the mayor for veteran and disability protection, and for economy and finance, Đulaga Hamza and Fahrudin Kurtović.

With wishes for good health and that the coming year be much better, Chairman Ajnadžić congratulated the attending members of the families of fallen soldiers on the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays and stated that the Centar Municipality traditionally has good cooperation with veteran associations.

– Today we invited you for a gathering and to present you, on behalf of the executive and legislative municipal authorities, with symbolic monetary donations. We allocated as much funds as we were able, not as much as we would have liked, but I believe that sometimes a good intention is important, especially towards your families who have made an immeasurable contribution to building the multi-ethnic state of Bosnia and Herzegovina – said Ajnadžić.

Deputy Chairman Kovačević added that it is very important that such a message be sent from the Centar Municipality, which in this way shows that it is the most multi-ethnic municipality in Bosnia and Herzegovina, because on the occasion of every holiday of all faiths, it organizes meetings with people of good will.

On the occasion of Catholic Christmas, at the proposal of the municipal Association of Families of Martyrs and Fallen Soldiers, donations from the Municipality in the amount of 100 KM each were received by: Tijana Križanović, Zerina Šerer, Suzana Lukić, Spomenka Smajlović-Pajtak, Ivana Kabahija, Jagoda Abazović, Zoran Belaić, Zora Časar, Mara Livaja and Zdenko Vavra.
