
(Patria) - The world of BiH sports was shaken this morning by the news that FK Sarajevo legend Vahidin Musemić has passed away, N1 reports.
Although he had to end his career earlier than anyone expected due to a serious injury, Musemić earned legendary status at the club from Titova 38b.
Vahidin Musemić was born on October 29, 1946, in Janja. He began his football career at Sarajevo in 1962.
He played 300 matches for Sarajevo and scored 300 goals! He debuted for the Yugoslav national team on April 6, 1968, in Marseille against France in a 1:1 draw, scoring the goal for Yugoslavia. He played 18 matches for the national team. He played for the French team Nice for two years. With the Yugoslav national team, he won a silver medal at the European Championship in Rome in 1968.
