(Patria) - Footballer of Radnički from Ratkovo, Aleksandar Krunić, suddenly passed away at the age of 30.
The unfortunate young man felt unwell on Wednesday during training, and an ambulance soon arrived, which was supposed to transport him to the Clinical Center in Novi Sad, Serbian media report.
Unfortunately, the heart attack was so severe that the footballer died en route to the hospital, causing great sadness among his teammates.
"Fans, acquaintances, and followers, with great sorrow we inform you that our friend, brother, teammate has left his heart on the field," reads, among other things, the club's Facebook profile.
