
SARAJevo, (Patria) - Radomir Antić, former coach of Atletico Madrid, has passed away at the age of 71, Atletico and Spanish media reported.
Antić coached the biggest world clubs in his career, Barcelona and Real Madrid, and with Atletico he won a double crown and was chosen as the best coach in Spain in 1996. He also coached Oviedo, Celta and Zaragoza, for whom he also played, and the Serbian National Football Team at the 2010 World Cup, before heading to China at the end of his career.
Antić is currently the only coach to have managed the three biggest Spanish clubs, and interestingly, the double crown with the Rojiblancos are his only two trophies in his career.
As a player, he was a legend of Belgrade's Partizan, he started his career in Užice, and he also wore the jerseys of Fenerbahçe, Zaragoza and Luton Town.
