
(Patria) - Long-time journalist and blogger Slobodan Vasković passed away at the age of 63, it was announced on his official blog.
"Our dear Slobo has left us and crossed to the Other Side, fighting until the end. Others wrote the details of his biography for years, and for us, he was and will forever remain the best son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin… The Family" reads the announcement on his official blog.
Vasković had health problems in recent days, and he passed away as a result of those complications.
Slobodan Vasković was born on November 16, 1962, in Sarajevo. He finished high school and a ballet school, and a higher ballet school at the National Theatre in Sarajevo (1984). He was employed at the National Theatre from 1986 to 1992 as a member of the ballet. During the war, he hosted the folk music show "Svilen konac" on Serbian Radio in Pale. After the war, he moved to Banja Luka, where he became a correspondent for the daily newspaper "Građanin". He then worked as a journalist for the newspaper "Reporter".
From 2001 to 2009, he was the director and editor-in-chief of the magazine "Patriot". Then, he was the editor-in-chief of the magazine "Stav". Until March 2011, he worked as a journalist on the show "60 minuta" on Federal Television from Sarajevo. In April of the same year, he launched his personal blog.
