
(Patria) - The first agent of Bosnia and Herzegovina before the International Court of Justice in The Hague, Francis Boyle, passed away on January 30 at the age of 75.
Boyle was a former agent of BiH in The Hague and a professor of international law at the University of Illinois.
In addition, Boyle was an advisor to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Interim Government of the Palestinian Authority.
He also represented two citizens' associations in BiH and was involved in indicting Slobodan Milošević for genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
I’m told by his brother Jerry Boyle than the lawyer and scholar Francis Boyle died this morning.
He was a ferocious critic of the US Empire. He was the first to outline the “legal intifada” for Palestine which invoking the Genocide Convention is part of.
