Former Mayor of Bratunac Srđan Rankić Passes Away

(Patria) - Former Mayor of Bratunac Srđan Rankić suddenly passed away last night in Belgrade due to a heart attack at the age of 47.

Srđan is survived by his wife Dijana, daughter Anastasija, and son Aleksej.

His friends are bidding farewell to Rankić on social media.

"I don't want to believe it, but I have to! At 47 years of age, our friend, comrade, and brother Srđan Rankić has departed for eternal rest.

A good man, a great person, has left us. Again, I don't want to believe it, but I have to! May the earth be light upon him, and may God grant his family strength and comfort as much as possible. Rest in peace, my friend," wrote Jelena Trivić, president of the People's Front party, among other things.
