Banja Luka handball player Zlatko Saračević passed away

According to Podravski list, Saračević was driving home the goalkeeping coach Barbara Stančin after the victory over Lokomotiva.

At one point, he felt unwell at the traffic lights, and Barbara immediately called an ambulance.

Saračević was born in Banja Luka on July 5, 1961, and from 1977 to 1987, he played for Borac, with whom he won the Yugoslav Championship in 1981 and the Cup in 1979.

In his career, he also played for Medveščak Zagreb, Nimes, Bordeaux, Creteil, Istres, Zagreb, Veszprem, and ended his career in 2003 at Rijeka's Zamet.
