Wife of Halid Bešlić passes away

(Patria) - Sejda Bešlić, wife of the late singer Halid Bešlić, passed away today at the age of 72.

This information was confirmed to Hayat.ba by manager Nedim Srnja, a close friend of the Bešlić family.

Sejda passed away after a long and difficult illness, eight months after Halid's death.

Sejda and Halid met at the beginning of his career while she was working at a chocolate factory at the time.

Their first encounter took place at Halid's performance in a tavern where his future sister-in-law worked.

Halid and Sejda got married in 1977, and their love was crowned with the birth of their son Dino.

Sejda was the greatest support to her husband, and Halid dedicated the song "Sejda" to her near the end of his life.
