-The level of your rights will not be reduced. Also, the FBiH Government does not intend to do anything without an agreement with you, because it considers you a partner, said today at the headquarters of the Federal Government in Sarajevo the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH Fadil Novalić at the beginning of the meeting which, along with the Federal Minister for Veterans' Affairs and Disabled Veterans of the Defensive-Liberation War Salko Bukvarević, he held with representatives of veterans' associations, organizations, and unions from across the Federation of BiH, reports the Patria News Agency.
The Prime Minister emphasized that despite the reduction of the FBiH Budget for this year compared to the previous one, allocations for the veteran population have not been reduced, which proves the Government's commitment to keeping their rights the same.
The Prime Minister also added that the Government wants to include members of the veteran population in incentive programs through the federal ministries of development, entrepreneurship and crafts, and agriculture, water management and forestry.
-The Government cares about the members of the associations you gather being included in solving issues not only from the area of veteran and disability protection, but also others on whose resolution the economic and overall development of the Federation of BiH depends - said Prime Minister Novalić.
In this context, Minister Bukvarević emphasized that the country can only be built in cooperation with those who fought for it and defended it.
Expressing satisfaction with the large turnout of representatives of veterans' associations at today's meeting, Minister Bukvarević said that it is planned to hold such meetings quarterly in the coming period in order to jointly solve the problems of this population, and to restore dignity to this extremely deserving category of our society. He also announced that a series of individual meetings with veterans' associations will begin tomorrow.
Representatives of veterans' associations unanimously welcomed the fact that the FBiH Government and the relevant ministry have shown at the very beginning of their mandate that they genuinely want to solve issues important to this population. They supported the positions of the Prime Minister and the Minister for establishing a functional relationship and consensus in future work.
Concluding the meeting, the Prime Minister expressed satisfaction that there is a willingness among veterans' associations for their coordinated action, which will facilitate the definition of their common problems, and thus the finding of solutions acceptable to all, it was announced from the Public Relations Office of the FBiH Government.
