(Patria) - (Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor) Orban is effectively threatening Bosnia with war. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other BiH institutions must respond strongly to this act of aggression, emphasizes professor at the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo, Vahidin Preljević.
In a post on platform X, Preljević commented on today's scandalous statement by Hungarian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Levente Magyar.

- We are with you. Whatever happens, we are with you and the people of the RS. Hungary is here in the neighborhood, just 70 kilometers away. The time when Hungary was only an observer of events is over - said Magyar in Banja Luka after a meeting with RS President Milorad Dodik.
Preljević notes that Orban has for years supported "the Bosnian-Serb autocrat Milorad Dodik, a particularly vulgar Putin ally in the Balkans."
Is Orban threatening Bosnia with war? For years, he has supported the Bosnian-Serbian autocrat Milorad Dodik, a particularly vulgar Putin ally in the Balkans, who has recently used a judgement against him in the first instance as an opportunity to destabilize the country again… https://t.co/lekP6pWHDy

He also recalls that Dodik recently used the first-instance verdict of the Court of BiH as an opportunity to further destabilize the country and engage in unconstitutional and separatist actions.
"Now the deputy Hungarian foreign minister has openly announced (military?) intervention in Bosnia to help Dodik suspend the BiH Constitution and disregard laws.
If Europe is serious about its new policy, it must stop Orban and encourage Bosnian institutions to do their job to uphold the rule of law," Preljević stated.
