(Patria) - The Mostar derby between Velež and Zrinjski was interrupted in the first half due to a clash between visiting fans and the police.
The city derby was stopped after just over half an hour. The Ultras first threw flares onto the pitch, then clashed with stewards, prompting police intervention, and referee Irfan Peljto immediately sent the players to the dressing rooms.
The players have been in the dressing rooms for some time now, and it is unclear how long this pause will last and what decision the officials will ultimately make.
The decision was made to continue the match, and if there are further incidents and throwing of pyrotechnic devices, the stands will be cleared.
