(Patria) – Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu stated on Wednesday that negotiations between Turkey and the US are underway regarding a working group proposed by official Ankara to assess the possible consequences of procuring the S-400 missile system from Russia.
We remind you that Turkey's decision to procure the S-400 from Russia, which is not compatible with NATO systems, has provoked a reaction from the US and consequently tensions between these two countries, which ultimately led them to the negotiating table.
Cavusoglu reiterated earlier statements by official Ankara that there is no possibility of stopping or postponing this procurement, Reuters reported.
