House of Representatives of BiH PS obliged Council of Ministers of BiH to adopt protection measures with entities in steel production

(Patria) - The House of Representatives of BiH PS held an emergency session with only one item on the agenda: Taking measures and activities within the jurisdiction of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the aim of protecting domestic production - introducing a temporary protection measure for the import of steel and steel products, proposed by SDA MPs Šerif Špago, Edin Ramić, Safet Kešo, Denijal Tulumović, Amor Mašović, Šemsudin Dedić, Nermin Mandra, and Midhat Čaušević.

The House of Representatives of BiH PS adopted the following conclusion of the SDA, while at the suggestion of MP Predrag Kožul, the word "processing" was added:

"The Council of Ministers of BiH is obliged to re-examine the current situation in the steel industry in BiH within 30 days and, in coordination with the entity governments, to urgently create measures within its jurisdiction in order to preserve the production and processing of steel and 1000 jobs in that industry," it is stated.

Regarding the conclusions of Šemsudin Mehmedović and Saša Magazinović, they will go for harmonization due to the lack of an entity majority.
