SARAJevo, (Patria) - The extraordinary session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament dedicated to the security situation in this entity continued.
We remind you that the session was interrupted last night, after the presentation by Hajrudin Žilić, one of the representatives who requested the convening of an extraordinary session.
One of the proposed conclusions, if adopted, would oblige the Ministry of Internal Affairs of FBiH and cantonal police administrations to initiate activities to secure the necessary financial resources to fill the missing number of police officers in accordance with existing regulations on organization and systematization.
The MUP of FBiH would be obliged to prepare an assessment of the security situation and, in accordance with the assessment, initiate the procedure for forming and equipping a unit intended for detecting, monitoring, and preventing any form of security threat on the territory of the Federation within the constitutional competencies of the FBiH in the area of security.
The third conclusion stipulates that the House of Representatives of the Parliament of FBiH calls on the competent state authorities (Council of Ministers of BiH and both houses of the BiH Parliament) to, in accordance with their competencies, support the work of institutions at the state level dealing with migration issues (Border Police of BiH, OSA, Service for Foreigners' Affairs) in the context of filling missing material and human resources.
We remind you that the reason for convening the extraordinary session on security was the Draft Law on Police and Internal Affairs of RS, which provides for the introduction of a reserve police force.
