Representatives of the international community and embassies paid tribute to the victims of genocide

(Patria) - Representatives of the international community and embassies in BiH were in Potočari today to mark the 28th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica.

The US Embassy had a larger delegation because special representatives of the State Department also came.

The United States stands together with the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina as we honor the memory of the more than 8,000 men and boys who were murdered in Srebrenica genocide 28 years ago.

The delegation of Great Britain was led by Ambassador Julian Reilly.

High Representative Christian Schmidt was also in Potočari with his wife, and also addressed the commemoration today.

The EU Delegation also had a larger delegation. In addition to Ambassador Johann Sattler, director at EEAS Angelina Eichhorst was also in Potočari, and she will hold a series of meetings with BiH officials.
