If the audience's reaction to the performance of the play „Tako ti je mala moja kad ljubi mahalac“, which premiered at the Chamber Theatre 55 in Sarajevo on Friday evening, is any indication, the play will achieve equally great success as its predecessors „Ja mahaluša“ and „Mahalac“, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).
The play, written by Indira Kučuk-Sorguč, tells the story of the main character's resistance from a Bosnian mahala against modern Europe, and last night it moved the packed hall of the Chamber Theatre 55 to tears.
The main role in the play is played by comedian Nerman Mahmutović, while his wife, a European, or rather a pretentious Bosnian woman, is played by Negra Čičić.
The news agency Patria is one of the media sponsors of this humorous play. The play will also be performed on December 6, 7, and 24.
