Greater Serbian nationalists, or rather “air polluters”, do not give up on attacks on Bosnia and Bosniaks.
Thus, they recently promoted a book in Belgrade titled "Alija: ulema or balija" by authors Nenad Kecmanović and Darko Tanasković. “As the authors state, the book deals with 'a psychological portrayal of the wartime leader of Muslims in BiH, Alija Izetbegović, with an analysis of his political work and Islamist writings'.” (Slobodna Bosna)
Further in the text of Slobodna Bosna, it is stated: “The authors of the book, together with the promoters, Greater Serbian ideologue Matija Bećković and director Emir Kusturica, presented a series of, in their view, offensive theses about the first president of BiH, Alija Izetbegović, stating, among other things, that Izetbegović was an 'Islamist' and that 'Allah was the sole measure and criterion of his behavior and actions, not earthly morality, principles and values'.”
Alija Izetbegović was indeed a Muslim, but he was not just a “wartime leader of Muslims”. He was the president of the Presidency of the sovereign, internationally recognized state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The authors do not mention this. They do not mention it because they are trying, in vain, to portray Serbia's aggression against our state as some kind of civil war.
The authors' claim that “Allah was the sole measure and criterion of his (Alija's) behavior and actions, not earthly morality, principles and values” is correct. That is why, under his supreme command, the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina was one of the most glorious and most humane armies ever to emerge.
And Allah's commands and principles are eternal and unchangeable. They apply to all people and are applied to everyone. And “your” earthly morality, principles and values, which you mention, stem from those principles and values.
The thing is that these nationalists have absolutely no principles or values whatsoever. Their “principles” are war crimes and genocide.
I know they are trying to figure out where the strength of our Army, on which they broke their teeth, came from, but they have started in a completely wrong direction.
Perhaps they should read, among other things, the Constitution of Medina. And the Constitution of Medina is the oldest document on human rights, created 600 years before the Magna Carta (Magna Carta Libertatum, 1215).
But since the ambassador of our state in Serbia, who, among other things, called Bosnia and Herzegovina an impossible state, also participated in this Greater Serbian charade, I expect the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina to recall Ambassador Aleksandar Vranješ. And not only that. The Presidency needs to conduct an analysis of the work of all our ambassadors and dismiss every one of them who, instead of representing the interests of our state, represents the interests of neighboring countries and their nationalist and aggressive policies.
