SDP BiH Presidency: Urgently dismiss SNSD officials from executive and legislative power

(Patria) - The constitutive session of the newly elected Presidency of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) BiH was held today in Sarajevo.

Among other issues, the current political situation and the political challenges that still exist in our country were discussed at the session.

The SDP Presidency condemns the unconstitutional and illegal activities constantly carried out by the institutions of Republika Srpska, which are aimed at further undermining the constitutional and legal order of our country and causing complete legal uncertainty.

Precisely because of all these activities of the rogue authorities of Republika Srpska, the SDP Presidency welcomes the decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH and the verdicts of the Court of BiH, which best protect the constitutional and legal order of BiH and the interests of all our citizens.

The Government of Republika Srpska, headed by Minister Minić, proposed by an unconstitutional proposer - an individual and the president of SNSD, is neither legal nor constitutional and should not undertake any actions within the jurisdiction of the executive power in this entity.

Bearing in mind the months-long destructive actions of SNSD officials in the Council of Ministers of BiH, which continued today with their refusal to adopt the Reform Agenda, causing Bosnia and Herzegovina to lose 108 million euros, the SDP BiH Presidency demands the urgent dismissal of SNSD officials from executive and legislative power and the urgent appointment of the Minister of Security of BiH, which are elementary prerequisites for unblocking the work of state institutions.

The SDP Presidency most sharply condemns the attacks and constant attempts to intimidate opposition politicians in Republika Srpska. What is further worrying and increases the feeling of general insecurity of citizens in this entity is that the police and judicial bodies have not yet shed light on a single case of these vandalistic and terrorist attacks.

"The masterminds and perpetrators must be found and severely punished as soon as possible. The daily spread of hatred and the creation of a lynching atmosphere towards all political dissidents by the authorities in this BiH entity, as well as constant incitement of inter-ethnic intolerance, must be stopped urgently," is the position of the SDP Presidency.

The SDP Presidency welcomes the activities of the SDP president and Prime Minister of FBiH Nermin Nikšić in successfully resolving the issue of procuring raw materials for production in the military industry factory "Igman" Konjic, which has enabled the uninterrupted continuation of further production and saved more than a thousand jobs in the plants of this extremely important factory.
