SDA Presidency on forming government, is there a SBB decision?

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Party of Democratic Action will hold a session of its Collegium today, followed by a session of the Presidency. A press conference will be held at 6 PM. It is certain that the main topic will be the formation of government at the state and federal levels. No agreement has been reached even seven months after the General Elections. 

On April 5, SDA signed a coalition agreement with the Democratic Front on the constitution of parliamentary majorities, as well as other programmatic goals to be jointly realized. 

After a cycle of negotiations between the presidents of SDA, HDZ BiH, and SNSD, there is no final agreement on the formation of the Council of Ministers of BiH, and the position of the Alliance for a Better Future on whether it will be part of the government is still awaited. The president of SDA, Bakir Izetbegović, also spoke about this, confirming that he met with Fahrudin Radončić, but that there is no green light for entering the government. 

The demands placed before BiH in the context of its European path certainly include the fastest possible formation of government so that initiated reforms can continue, and focus can be directed towards the further progress of BiH. If the government is not formed soon, it is unlikely that BiH can expect candidate status this year. Given that the analysis of BiH's judiciary will be completed in November, it is certain that this year is lost in terms of BiH's EU path.
