BiH Presidency: Decision on Accession to the Agreement on Joint Procurement of Medical Countermeasures

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Due to a state of natural or other disaster caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, which threatens the survival of the nation, the Presidency of BiH gave consent for the Agreement on Joint Public Procurement of Medical Countermeasures to be applied temporarily until the ratification procedure is completed. 

The Presidency of BiH did so in accordance with Article 9 of the Law on the Procedure for Concluding and Executing International Agreements (“Official Gazette of BiH”, no. 29/00, 32/13).

This decision prescribes the accession and consent of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Agreement on Joint Public Procurement of Medical Countermeasures, with the international agreement being applied temporarily until the ratification procedure is completed and authorisation is given to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH to sign the agreement.
