(Patria) - Russian and Iranian presidents Vladimir Putin and Masoud Pezeshkian yesterday signed the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement. The ceremony was held after talks in the Kremlin.
The document is expected to elevate relations between Moscow and Tehran to a new level, reflecting their status as strategic partners, TASS reported.
The agreement also establishes a legal framework for further long-term development of cooperation.
According to officials from both countries, the agreement covers all spheres, including defense, counter-terrorism, energy, finance, transport, industry, agriculture, culture, science and engineering.
