Predrag Kojović and the ruling Trojka belittle the union and young people - Does a person have the right to live in your political story?

(Patria) - The statement by Predrag Kojović, whose Our Party is in the ruling Trojka coalition in Sarajevo Canton, in which he accused the Health Workers' Union of conducting a political struggle and using protests as a weapon in the election campaign, is the best proof of a complete misunderstanding and disrespect for the real problems of health workers, said the Party for BiH MP in the KS Assembly, Muamer Bandić.

"The union has been negotiating with the Government of Sarajevo Canton for months to resolve the issue of increasing the hourly wage from the current KM 3.07 to KM 3.70, which is the minimum that workers have requested to be able to live decently from their work. This struggle is not political – it is a struggle for basic workers' rights!

However, instead of supporting the workers, Kojović and Trojka are busy justifying the government's failures. Kojović's attempts to justify the KS Government and Prime Minister Nihad Uk for not allocating sufficient funds for young people are just another attempt at spinning and selling fog," states Bandić.

As the head of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina Club in the KS Assembly, he reminds the public that they requested the allocation of 15 million KM for subsidizing housing for young people through an amendment to the budget.

"However, the ruling majority, including Kojović's Our Party, rejected this proposal.

Today, when young people cannot get the full subsidy amount for housing solutions, Trojka is trying to avoid responsibility and shift the blame to everyone except accepting their own mistakes and apologizing to the public. They are the ones who rejected our proposal and left young people without key support! Instead of concrete solutions, we get excuses and attacks on unions," says Bandić and concludes:

"The citizens of Sarajevo deserve a government that works for them, not against them. Enough of diverting attention from real problems and blaming others for their own failures. The Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina will continue to fight for the rights of workers and young people, and we will not give up until their demands are met."
