(Patria) - The acting prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption has submitted a proposal to the Court of BiH to extend the detention measure for the suspect Kikić Raj (1963) born in Brezik, BiH.
The suspect is under investigation for soliciting and receiving a gift in order to, contrary to legal provisions and bypassing foreseen health and sanitary procedures, allow three passengers who came from Croatia, and had previously been in other countries, to enter BiH at the Brčko border crossing.
Given that these were young individuals with intensive social contacts and movement, the suspect's actions posed a great danger to the health and lives of BiH citizens.
"Detention for the suspect has been proposed for the reasons described in Article 132, Paragraph 1, Point d) of the Criminal Procedure Code of BiH, due to the fact that the suspect's actions have caused public unrest and fear among citizens due to the possible consequences of the committed criminal offense. The proposal has been submitted to the Court of BiH," announced the BiH Prosecutor's Office.
