(Patria) - The acting prosecutor of the KS Prosecutor's Office proposed to the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo the extension of detention for another two months for the suspects Ibri Berilo, Nađi Milišić, and Adisu Mulaosmanović.
"The extension was proposed due to the risk that the suspects, if at liberty, could influence witnesses, conceal evidence, and due to the risk of re-offending," the KS Prosecutor's Office announced.
We remind you that the Mayor of Trnovo Municipality, Ibri Berilo, his assistant Nađa Milišić, and businessman Adis Mulaosmanović were arrested on August 5 as part of an operation codenamed "Incitat".
In the same operation, carried out by the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) under the order of the KS Prosecutor's Office, Mulaosmanović's sister, Edina Džigal, was also arrested, and later the former director of Sarajevo-šume, Nermin Demirović. Džigal was released to defend herself from freedom, with certain restrictive measures.
They are under investigation on suspicion of committing the criminal offenses of association for the purpose of committing criminal offenses, abuse of position or authority, and money laundering.
Demirović was arrested on August 24, and was ordered one month of detention.
