One-month detention proposed for Irfan Karić

(Patria) - The acting prosecutor of the Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecutor's Office has proposed to the Municipal Court in Sarajevo to order one-month detention for Irfan Karić.

Detention has been proposed due to the danger that the suspect might re-offend if released.

He is suspected of the criminal offenses of obstructing an official in the performance of official duties, unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs, and illegal possession of weapons or explosives.

The detention hearing begins at 11 AM.

We remind you that Karić, during protests in Sarajevo on February 18, violently attempted to pass through a closed road, and after police officers forced him to move to the sidewalk, narcotics were found in his Skoda.
