Nikola Kos, Suspect in Aiding the Murder of Dejan Kostić Dela, Surrenders

(Patria) - On August 13, 2025, suspect Nikola Kos, born in 1989 from Banja Luka, who had been on the run for the criminal offense of Aiding in Aggravated Murder under Article 125, Paragraph 1, Item 1 in conjunction with Article 39 of the RS Criminal Code, committed in Banja Luka on January 11, 2025, to the detriment of D. K., appeared and surrendered at the premises of the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Banja Luka, accompanied by his defense attorney.

By a decision of the District Court in Banja Luka, dated January 14, 2025, a detention measure was ordered against the suspect, and a warrant was issued.

In accordance with the aforementioned court decision, the suspect will be transferred to the detention units of the Correctional Facility in Tunjice.

The District Public Prosecutor's Office in Banja Luka continues to conduct an investigation regarding the committed criminal offense, it was announced from this judicial institution.

Nikola Kos (35) is the suspect for aiding in the murder case of Dejan Kostić Dela.

Kostić was a former leader of Borac fans who was killed on January 11 in front of the Banja Luka restaurant "Stara Ada", for which Nemanja Sjenica (30), who is on the run, is suspected, while Kos is accused of having helped him, i.e., driving Sjenica before and after the crime and assisting him in his escape.

Shortly after the crime, Nemanja's father Jelenko Kopranović (51) was placed in detention, as was Jovica Grujić (32), and they have since been released.
