Real summer days ahead: Temperatures up to 40 degrees, high UV index

(Patria) - We are facing days of real summer weather. On Friday, pleasantly warm weather will prevail in Bosnia and Herzegovina, while over the weekend and next week, real summer heat with plenty of sunshine is expected.

In addition to high temperatures, a more pronounced feeling of increased air humidity is forecast, which will further intensify the subjective impression of sultriness. Freshness during the day can be found in mountainous areas or during the night hours, especially in the central parts of the country. Clear and sunny weather will also cause a high UV index, so caution is recommended, especially during the hottest part of the day.

Minimum air temperatures will vary between 14°C and 20°C in Bosnia, and up to 24°C in Herzegovina. Maximum daily temperatures will mostly range between 34°C and 38°C, while in the south of the country, temperatures up to 40°C are expected, according to the FHMZ.

From the middle of next week, conditions for local showers will strengthen in our country. Although temperatures will then be slightly lower, they will still remain above the average for this time of year.

Morning temperatures will vary between 14°C and 19°C in Bosnia, up to 24°C in the south of Herzegovina. Maximum temperatures will range between 31°C and 36°C in Bosnia, while in Herzegovina they will reach up to 39°C.
