Law Faculty in Zenica and Institute for Research of Crimes Strengthen Institutional Cooperation

(Patria) - The Dean of the Law Faculty of the University of Zenica, Enis Omerović, visited the Institute for Research of Crimes Against Humanity and International Law of the University of Sarajevo, where he met with its director, Muamer Džananović.

During the meeting, they discussed the improvement of institutional cooperation through the organization of joint scientific conferences, round tables, and other forms of academic and professional activities of common interest.

Special emphasis was placed on connecting the teaching process with the research and documentation work of the Institute.

In this context, study visits of students from the Law Faculty of the University of Zenica to the Institute were announced as part of teaching activities in the field of international criminal law and international humanitarian law.

This form of cooperation allows students to become directly acquainted with the work of one of the most significant institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina that deals with the research of crimes against humanity and the documentation of violations of international law.

Džananović thanked Omerović for his contribution to the recently published first issue of the Institute's Yearbook, in which Omerović participates as a member of the editorial board.

The meeting confirmed the mutual commitment to further strengthening academic cooperation and developing projects that contribute to the advancement of scientific research and the quality of higher education.
