Returnee Mirsad Omerović released from custody

(Patria) - Mirsad Omerović has been released from custody, confirmed Alija Tabaković, a People's Representative in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska.

He stated that Omerović is on his way to Potočari and that he will follow the case to the end.

Tabaković, along with Hamdija Fejzić, Deputy Mayor of Srebrenica, visited Mirsad Omerović's wife.

"We have provided the family with every form of support. There is no one in this world who can stop us from reminding people about the genocide against Bosniaks," stated Tabaković.

Omerović was arrested on the evening of July 12th after posting a status on Facebook, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska is charging him with endangering security.
