In most of Bosnia and Herzegovina today, traffic is moving under relatively favorable conditions with intermittently heavy vehicle traffic. Due to the rain that has fallen, the road surface is wet in places in the northern and northwestern parts, reports the Patria News Agency.
Work is underway on the rehabilitation of expansion joints on two bridges on the A-1 highway section Podlugovi-Sarajevo sjever, where traffic is two-way (approximately 4 km long) on the right carriageway.
Among other roads with ongoing works, we highlight the main roads: Doboj-Gračanica, Čelinac-Kotor Varoš, Brod na Drini-GP Hum/Šćepan Polje, Jablanica-Prozor, Čapljina-Stolac, and Konjic-Jablanica.
On the main road M-5 Transit through Sarajevo, due to works, vehicles over 7.5 tons are using the passage through the city, while vehicles up to 7.5 tons and buses are using the alternative route on the section between Bistrik and the Vraca intersection and vice versa. Due to rehabilitation works, traffic for vehicles over 7 tons is suspended at the northern entrance to Mostar (on the section from Zalika to the National Theatre), and the alternative route for this category of vehicles is the southern entrance to Mostar.
At the border crossings, waiting times are currently no longer than 15 minutes, according to BIHAMK.
