Indictment confirmed against 14 hooligans for clash near Tuzla airport

(Patria) - The Municipal Court in Živinice confirmed the indictment of the Prosecutor's Office of Tuzla Canton (TK) against 14 individuals for a fan clash that occurred in Dubrave near Živinice, near the International Airport Tuzla.

The indictment includes Josip Kustura, Andrej Jokić, Ivan Beoković, Tomislav Kustura, Marko Primorac, Marino Kristian Mikeli, Roko Kalašić, Alen Barunčić, Duje Penić, Ivan Vrsalović, Marko Jovanović, Josip Sivrić, Petar Vukasović, and Pero Vujčić.

They are charged with the criminal offense of participating in a group of people that commits a criminal offense under Article 341, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of BiH, while Marko Jovanović is also charged with the criminal offense of damaging another's property under Article 293, Paragraph 1 of the same law.

This is a case of a mass brawl between fan groups that caused significant public attention.

The incident occurred on January 24 in Dubrave, where a physical conflict between a larger number of individuals took place. According to earlier information from the investigation, dozens of fans participated in the clash. Several injuries were recorded, and material damage was also caused.

Following the event, an extensive police operation was carried out, and the suspects were arrested and processed. The TK Prosecutor's Office then filed the indictment, which the court has now officially confirmed, thus fulfilling the conditions for the start of legal proceedings.

Further proceedings will be conducted before the Municipal Court in Živinice, where the responsibility of the accused for the events that disturbed the public in the area of Dubrave and Živinice will be determined during the main hearing.
