Consumer basket in September amounted to 3,131 KM

(Patria) - The trade union consumer basket calculated by the Union of Independent Trade Unions of Bosnia and Herzegovina for September 2024 amounts to 3,131 KM.

The average salary paid in the Federation of BiH for July 2024 was 1,387.00 KM. The minimum wage according to the Decision of the Government of the FBiH is 619 KM. The coverage of the Trade Union consumer basket by the average salary is 44.3%.

The coverage of the Trade Union consumer basket by the minimum wage is 19.8%.

When preparing the Trade Union consumer basket, the average salary paid in the Federation of BiH was taken into account, as well as the minimum living costs for a family of four, consisting of two adults and two children, one of whom is in secondary school and the other in primary school.

The consumer basket includes: Food, housing and utilities, hygiene and health maintenance, education and culture, clothing and footwear, transportation, and household maintenance.
