15 contracts signed for flood damage recovery in Gradačac

At the headquarters of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Government in Sarajevo today, 15 contracts were signed for assistance in recovering from the consequences of catastrophic floods and landslides in the municipality of Gradačac. The contracts were signed with representatives of the Federal Fund for Assistance to Disaster-Stricken Areas in the Territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina by the mayor of this municipality, Edis Dervišagić, and their total value is 63,000 convertible marks, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

Previously, funds from the Fund were used to assist affected businesses in this municipality with a value of 60,000 KM.

- The total damage in our municipality, caused by this natural disaster, is estimated at around 38 million marks, and we have 24 completely destroyed and about 70 damaged residential buildings. I thank the Fund for the assistance allocated to us, which will be very useful to the end-users in recovering from the consequences of floods and landslides - said Mayor Dervišagić.
