Contracts for (self)employment of members of the veteran population signed in Žepče and Maglaj

(Patria) - Contracts for awarding incentives for self-employment and employment of members of the veteran population were signed in previous days with beneficiaries from Zenica, Visoko, Breza, Zavidovići and Olovo, and today they were also signed in Žepče and Maglaj.

The Minister for Veteran Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDK), Adnan Sirovica, noted that 12 applications submitted to the public call were approved under the employment program, and under the self-employment program for all variants, a total of 212 beneficiaries, of which 138 are beneficiaries of the "First Business" program, i.e., 138 new companies in ZDK, for which a total of 2.3 million KM was allocated.

Sirovica emphasizes that the employment and self-employment incentive programs aim to reduce the unemployment rate among the veteran population, and thus solve their existential issues and improve their socio-economic situation.

- With incentives in the amount of 12,000 KM each, we supported 19 beneficiaries, which means 19 new companies here in Maglaj, for which a total of 228,000 KM was allocated through the "First Business" program.

We also supported 14 beneficiaries of the "Business Plus" program, which are companies that have maintained their registration, hired employees, and duly paid their tax obligations, for which an additional 25,500 KM was allocated - said Sirovica.

By the end of the week, it is planned to sign contracts with beneficiaries in other cities and municipalities in ZDK.
