Potočari: Reisul-ulema visited coffins of 30 genocide victims

(Patria) - The Reisul-ulema of the Islamic Community (IZ) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Husein-ef. Kavazović, visited the coffins of 30 genocide victims at the Srebrenica-Potočari Memorial Center and expressed condolences to the families.

Condolences were also expressed to the families by the Deputy Reisul-ulema, Prof. Dr. Enes-ef. Ljevaković, Tuzla Mufti Dr. Vahid-ef. Fazlović, Chief Imam of the Srebrenica Islamic Community Council Damir-ef. Peštalić, President of the IZ Assembly Edhem Bičakčić, and other representatives of the Islamic Community's Riyaset.

The funeral prayer for the genocide victims will be led by Reisul-ulema Kavazović today after the noon and afternoon prayers.

The youngest victim to be prayed for today is Elvir Salčinović, who was only 15 years old when he was killed. He will be buried next to his father Turabi and brother Almir.

In addition to him, funeral prayers will be held for three other minors – Semir Đozić, who was 17 years old at the time of his death, and boys Mustafa Mekanić and Esed Klempić, who were 16 years old.

The oldest victim is Nezir Muminović, who was 65 years old at the time he was killed.
