RTVFBiH Management Board: We support the joint demands of the BHRT and RTV FBiH trade union organizations

(Patria) - The Management Board of the Radio Television of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina fully accepts the joint demands of the trade union organizations of BHRT and RTV Federation of BiH, which in the only legally correct way resolve the current issues of RTV fee collection in the Federation of BiH.

"We consider the trade unions' demand for the urgent signing of an Annex to the existing RTV fee collection Agreement for a period of six months to be reasonable, in order to ensure regular income for the employees of both Public Services based in Sarajevo and to set a timeframe for a permanent solution to the financing problems of state and entity radio and television houses in our country.

We are open to all solutions that will ensure the permanent financing of Public Services in BiH within the given timeframe.

Drawing on the only undisputed legal legitimacy for collecting RTV fees in the Federation of BiH, and in order to ensure regular salaries for the employees of both BHRT and RTV FBiH, RTV Federation of BiH is also prepared for a bilateral agreement with Elektroprivreda BiH.

Consistent adherence to the law, constructive dialogue, ensuring income for the employees of both houses, and uninterrupted production of program content will continue to be the basic postulates of the Management Board of RTV Federation of BiH's operations," it was announced.
