Do you know who is the saddest person in Bosnia and Herzegovina today? Not counting those who lost loved ones and homes in the floods, Michael Murphy is the saddest person in our country.
This is an ambassador in whom there is clearly serious sadness and suffering because his plan to Palestinianize and suppress the freedom of Bosniaks has failed, as Bosniaks still dare to raise their heads and say NO to attacks on Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The American diplomat, aware that he no longer has a diplomatic perspective and that in the future he will gather dust like some office moth somewhere in America, decided in the last minutes of his diplomatic engagement to once again settle scores with Bosniaks.
Because Murphy has no problem with Bosniaks in the RS being a statistical error, practically at the level of a national minority in terms of numbers, nor does he have a problem with war criminals being glorified and genocide being denied in the RS. He has no problem with those Bosniaks being denied the right to their language and identity, with them being almost non-existent in RS institutions.
This hopeless diplomat has no problem with Dragan Čović either, who for years has prevented Bosniaks from exercising their constituent rights in Čapljina and Stolac. He has no problem with that Čović even when he blocks the Southern Interconnection gas pipeline or when he celebrates with war criminals.
True, the embassy led by Murphy occasionally issues statements about all this, but interestingly, it never responds to those policies in the way it responded today to the Club of Bosniaks in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament.
And here we return to 2022, because today it is clearer than ever that Murphy was the creator of the biggest systemic attack on the political rights of Bosniaks since the deep communist era.
Why the compromised ambassador of the world's leading power wanted to suppress Bosniak patriotic politics and bring loyal and blackmailed cadres to power, we could only assume then, but today we can clearly say that Murphy's goal was to weaken the patriotic bloc and thus begin the most serious phase of dismantling Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Today we see him unhappy and disturbed that he did not succeed, so he tries, in the style of his puppets from the Troika, to demonize the patriotic parties and delegates who have drawn red lines and do not allow Bosnia and Herzegovina to be undermined through its institutions and system.
A blessing in disguise for Bosnia and Herzegovina is that Murphy is counting the last days of his mandate in our country. We do not know what the next one will be like, we do not even know who will be in the administration, but we hope it will not be those who wrote the anti-diplomatic pamphlet from the US Embassy today.
What we know is that an ambassador is leaving who built a government in Bosnia and Herzegovina with corrupt and anti-Bosnian politicians and lied to us that he was doing so to steer Bosnia and Herzegovina on the Euro-Atlantic path.
And then, in the system of such a government, he convinces us that even if the law on the Constitutional Court of BiH is adopted according to the SDS proposal, it will not be adopted in the House of Representatives. And in the House of Representatives, his protégés Dino, Neka, Forto, Čović, and Dodik have the majority.
Perhaps Murphy spent too much time during his mandate with people close to the cartel, so his brain cells work in reverse rhythm, but he must know that patriotic politics understood in a timely manner the direction in which Murphy's diplomacy was heading.
This is shown by the results of local elections, as well as the consistency and persistence of pro-Bosnian delegates in the House of Peoples to stand guard over the state at all costs. And there is no doubt that any concession and compromise solution to the issue of the Constitutional Court would mean a path towards further and probably the most serious collapse of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
And I call on Murphy to preserve at least a little of his remaining diplomatic dignity and, instead of an aggressive attack on patriotic politics, for which Bosnia and Herzegovina comes before everything, to bid farewell to our country in peace.
We wish him a safe journey, an unstable flight, and that he gathers dust for a long time in some American office.
And for us, it remains to fight with the consequences of his diplomatic aggression against Bosniaks and the imposed government he leaves behind.
The reactions of both the authorities and their diplomatic patron show that we are on the right path!
