Message to the handball Dragons: What does the heart know, what is money?

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - What does it mean to love with your heart? It means being ready for anything, it means giving your best to make the other person happy. What does the HEART know, what is money?

This is the beginning of the text about the BiH handball team published on the Facebook page Rukometna reprezentacija BiH. We are reprinting the rest of the text in its entirety.

Playing for the homeland, the state coat of arms which is sacred, playing at the historic European Championship means a lot to us. What more does it mean to us when we hear our anthem, which we will listen to with pride, and how much more is it for the players, the players who made us happy and went to the European Championship, inscribed themselves in the history of our country.

There were big problems, we barely managed to go, some money was collected, and that with difficulty, the state turned its back on this sport, no one recognizes it, but these guys who went to Norway will return with pride. When Bosnian stubbornness kicks in, our crazy Bosnian head and blood, there's nothing like it.

We are not asking much from you, it is important that you represent us in the best light, that we prove to people from the rest of the world that there is a small country that has suffered a lot, is still suffering, but is ready to make its citizens happy and proud.

I often hear sentences, I won't do it out of spite, I wouldn't do it out of spite, but we expect Bosnian stubbornness to kick in here, and for everything to be perfect.

The motive for acting out of spite is not personal beliefs or attitudes, but simply the desire to prove/show something to someone. Or, better said, that it is not as someone else wants, even if it is the wrong way, so go ahead, guys, we believe in you, and in your strength, and in our BOSNIAN STUBBORNNESS!

Guys, you know what you have to do.

Soon the day will come when you play for your CITY, for your FAMILY, for all your FRIENDS, for ALL OF US. Let's go for the WIN because you are the PRIDE of the nation, HEART on the field!
