Message to Halid from Tuzla's Freedom Square: 'I will remember you for my whole life'

(Patria) - In addition to Sarajevans, the people of Tuzla are also bidding a dignified farewell tonight to the legendary Halid Bešlić.

"I will remember you for my whole life", "Romanija", "Okuj me care"... Halid's hits are lining up, which numerous Tuzla residents are singing in unison at tonight's spontaneous gathering on Freedom Square.

The call for the gathering appeared on social media for the people of Tuzla, just like the one in Sarajevo.

"We invite you to join us tonight at 7:00 PM on Freedom Square for a dignified gathering and joint singing in honor of Halid Bešlić - a symbol, trademark, emotion, humanitarian, man, and cultural identity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Bring good will, and if you have them - instruments. This is an invitation for all citizens, musicians, singers, those who loved him...

Let us pay him a dignified tribute as he deserves, he left us so much material wealth, but the soul is priceless.

Tuzla loves you and will always love you, legend of the world," stated in the invitation posted on Facebook.
