(Patria) - Captain of the BiH football team Edin Džeko addressed his Facebook page after the Football Association of BiH, led by Vico Zeljković, refused to give a portion of tickets to the fan group BH Fanaticosi who support all BiH national teams. At the same time, a new fan group, backed by Zeljković and Admir Arnautović Šmrk, BH Hooligans, received tickets.
Captain Džeko sent a clear message to both the public and the Football Association of BiH.
"From the first day of my national team career, I have been most proud that we have never felt like guests anywhere. Our fans have always been our strongest 'wind at our backs'! BH Fanaticosi, Ljuti Krajišnici, and other fan groups are part of our history, a symbol of all national teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It doesn't work without them, because they are our driving force, and all current and former national team players of Bosnia and Herzegovina in all sports can confirm this.
As a player, I am primarily interested in what happens on the field. The final result is important to me, and that is qualifying for the World Cup, and we will achieve it more easily with sincere support from the stands, which we desperately need," the captain stated.
