Family Counseling Center provides education, therapeutic work and other projects for family improvement

The Cantonal public institution „Family Counseling Center“ under the leadership of director Senad Alić has launched a series of projects on improving family relations, as well as on the young population and their everyday problems, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

School problems, lack of work habits, anger and aggressiveness, sexuality, fears are just some of the topics this institution deals with in order to make everyday life easier for young people.

The Center's experts provide education, as well as advisory and therapeutic work with users (work with family, work with individuals, work with partners - married, unmarried, parent-child relationship, group work).

One of the latest projects of the KJU „Family Counseling Center“ is informing and educating citizens, especially the elderly and sick, about rights and services in the field of social protection. For this reason, a mobile team has been formed to provide information in the field.

The Center's experts also organize lectures in secondary schools for both students and parents. Just one of the topics was „Youth and the Internet“, and other projects are planned.

The mission under which they operate is “Functional family - happy society”. Work with clients is carried out from Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 16:00, and exceptionally on Fridays from 12:00 to 15:00. More information can be found at porodicno.ba
