Families with three or more children receive systemic support for the first time in USK

(Patria) - With the adoption of the budget in the Assembly of the Una-Sana Canton (USK) today, families with three or more children are receiving systemic support for the first time, announced the Association "Families Three Plus".

Measures have been adopted that include free kindergartens for the third and every subsequent child in the family, subsidies for building a house or purchasing an apartment for families with three or more children, and rent subsidies for families with three or more children.

These measures are the result of the initiative by the Association "Families Three Plus", which, on the occasion of the Draft Budget of USK, submitted proposals for pro-natalist measures and held a series of meetings with representatives of USK.

The Association believes that these measures represent the beginning of systemic support for large families in USK.

"Also, we expect that in 2025, compensation for the third and every subsequent child will be adopted, which would provide families with three or more children in USK with support similar to that of large families in other cantons.

This is a significant step towards improving the living conditions of large families and strengthening the pro-natalist policy in this canton," the association stated.
