Porfirije, Dodik and Vučić are arguing with themselves: They are convincing Serbs they are not genocidal, even though no one but them claims that!

The head of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Porfirije, emphasized, imagine, in his Easter message that the proponents of the resolution on genocide in Srebrenica are trying to declare the Serbian people perpetrators of genocide, and that they are disregarding the crimes committed against the Serbian people in its vicinity.

In an extremely neutral resolution that declares July 11th the International Day of Remembrance of the Genocide in Srebrenica and calls for the inclusion of judicially established facts about the genocide in educational programs, the sole purpose of what the UN General Assembly will vote on.

Unreserved condemnation of any denial of the genocide in Srebrenica should be both an obligation and a duty. Judicially established facts about the genocide are put in the foreground, and the resolution in no way labels a nation as genocidal.

And precisely this is being amplified by Serbian political, and now religious, officials.
Serbia opposes the resolution, considering that it imposes collective guilt on the Serbian people, and at the UN, they primarily count on the support of Russia and China, as well as friendly countries in Africa and South America.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić claims that the adoption of the UN resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica serves to seek war reparations from Serbia, while the goal of Kosovo's entry into the Council of Europe is a lawsuit against Serbia, admitting that there is not much chance of stopping these processes.

However, he has not yet managed to properly explain what the purpose of opposing this resolution is and why he characterizes his entire nation with a narrative as genocidal, when no one else does!?

All of Vučić's statements are blindly followed by politicians from the entity of Republika Srpska, especially Milorad Dodik, who threatened that after the adoption of the resolution, nothing will be the same, and that he will initiate separation.

Given that it has been in quiet secession for many years, this resolution has served Dodik to mobilize the people, and with his rhetoric, to incite the residents of RS to attack returnees. Vučić, supported by Russia, with a determined Dodik, is moving towards achieving the political goal initiated by genocide!

The goal is to cleanse the territory of RS of Bosniaks, because according to the myth of the 'Serbian world', there are too many of them there anyway!

The UN resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica does not divide people, but the way Aleksandar Vučić and Milorad Dodik speak clearly identifies them, according to the Youth Initiative from Belgrade, and it is clear that the actors and proponents of the 'Serbian world' do not want to settle accounts from the past, which would be the basis for building a better future.
However, it is clear to everyone that Dodik and Vučić, acting arbitrarily from the Russian wing, will not escape. For them, a better future is a 'Serbian world' in which there is no place for any other nation.

Therefore, one should trust Dodik more when he says that 'Bosniaks can live on 25 percent of the territory and they don't need more', than when he expresses unconvincing condemnations for attacks on returnees in RS, while the perpetrators are almost never punished.

“As the president of RS, I knew what awaited me, and I have no right to complain to anyone. I will go to the end, whatever it means, for Republika Srpska and the Serbian people,” Dodik said, clearly showing that he is not interested in other nations in RS. And that is precisely the meaning of the 'Serbian world'. All Serbs in one state!

And, to achieve this more easily, it is necessary to somehow convince those Serbs that they are not genocidal, even though no one but Dodik, Vučić, and Porfirije claims that!
