(Patria) - The Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina informs the public that taxpayers in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina paid 2,658,487,319 KM in public revenues in the period January-April 2024, which is 226,809,202 KM, or 9.33% more than in January – April 2023. The table below shows the payments of public revenues in the period January-April 2024 compared to January-April 2023 by canton:
In the structure of public revenues for the period January – April 2024:
- Profit tax and arrears of profit tax were collected in the amount of 281,164,752 KM,
- Income tax and arrears of personal income tax were collected in the amount of 257,722,179 KM,
- Tax on real estate and rights transactions was collected in the amount of 29,269,170 KM,
- Property, inheritance, and gift tax was collected in the amount of 23,500,672 KM,
- Arrears of other taxes were collected in the amount of 142,906 KM,
- Fees and charges were collected in the amount of 268,373,261 KM,
- Fines were collected in the amount of 21,484,694 KM,
- Membership fees were collected in the amount of 5,555,254 KM,
- Other public revenues were collected in the amount of 1,217,772 KM.
In the period January-April 2024, contributions for pension and disability insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance were collected in the total amount of 1,769,884,038 KM.
In the structure of contributions for the period January-April 2024, the following were collected:
- Contributions for PIO/MIO in the amount of 992,482,400 KM,
- Contributions for health insurance in the amount of 695,864,678 KM,
- Contributions for unemployment insurance in the amount of 81,536,960 KM.
The number of employees by place of residence of the employee as of April 30, 2024, is 546,178. Compared to the published data on the number of employees as of April 30, 2023, when the number of employees was 539,303, this number is higher by 6,875, and compared to the previously published data on the number of employees as of March 31, 2024, when it was 542,715, it is higher by 3,463.
As of April 30, 2024, in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 304,672 or 55.78% are men and 241,506 or 44.22% are women. The number of employees up to 35 years old is 171,484 or 31.40%, and the number of employees older than 36 years is 374,694 or 68.60%.
According to official data from the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as of April 30, 2024, a total of 101,733 fiscal devices were installed in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, through which a total turnover of 5,054,179,510.15 KM was recorded in April 2024.
Compared to April 30, 2023, the number of fiscal devices is higher by 5,473, and the recorded turnover in April 2024 is higher compared to April 2023 by 62,665,838.82 KM.
The municipality with the largest number of fiscal devices as of April 30, 2024, is Centar Sarajevo Municipality, with 6,705 fiscal devices installed in its area.
The municipality with the smallest number of fiscal devices as of April 30, 2024, is Dobretići Municipality, with 6 fiscal devices installed in its area.
The municipality with the highest total turnover recorded through fiscal devices in April 2024 is Ilidža Municipality, with a total turnover of fiscal devices recorded in its area amounting to 413,663,790.98 KM.
The municipality with the lowest total turnover recorded through fiscal devices in April 2024 is Dobretići Municipality, with a total turnover of fiscal devices recorded in its area amounting to 139,635.31 KM.
