FBiH Tax Administration Finds 65 Undeclared Workers in 199 Inspections

(Patria) - Inspectors of the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH conducted 199 inspections, so-called actions, on August 19, 2024, in the territory of the Federation of BiH, covering taxpayers engaged in hospitality, baking, construction, gambling and betting, trade, and other service activities.

The inspections were carried out with the aim of verifying the legality of taxpayers' operations.

During the controls, 65 undeclared workers were discovered, 9 facilities operating without a permit from the competent authority, 5 taxpayers who did not have a fiscal device installed, and 78 taxpayers who did not record turnover via a fiscal device.

Due to the established irregularities: engagement of undeclared workers, operating without a permit, failure to record turnover via a fiscal device, and lack of an installed fiscal device, 19 facilities were sealed, and 153 misdemeanor warrants were issued with total fines amounting to 355,500.00 BAM.

The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH will continue inspection activities in the coming days, therefore taxpayers with established irregularities are called upon to align their operations and comply with the laws to avoid sanctions and unnecessary costs.
