
(Patria) - The Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina informs the public that taxpayers of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina paid 650,610,816 BAM in public revenues in January 2026, which is 14,710,446 BAM more, or 2.31% higher than in January 2025. The highest amount was paid in Sarajevo Canton, 238,705,947 BAM.

The number of employees by employee residence on January 31, 2026, is 542,373. According to the official records of the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as of January 31, 2026, there are 162,889 employees aged up to 35, or 30.03%, and 379,484 employees aged over 36, or 69.97%. As of January 31, 2026, there are 300,805 male employees, or 55.46%, and 241,568 female employees, or 44.54%, employed in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. For comparison, in December 2025, there were 545,409 employed persons, and at the end of January, there are 3,036 fewer employees.
According to official data from the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as of January 31, 2026, a total of 110,261 fiscal devices were installed in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, through which a total turnover of 5,050,002,598.67 BAM was recorded in January 2026.
The municipality with the largest number of fiscal devices as of January 31, 2026, is the Municipality of Centar Sarajevo, with 7,247 fiscal devices installed in its area.
The municipality with the highest recorded total turnover through fiscal devices in January 2026 is the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo, with a total turnover of 421,787,300.59 BAM recorded in its area.
