Defeat by Osijek: SFK Sarajevo eliminated from Champions League

(Patria) - SFK Sarajevo 2000 has been eliminated from the Women's Champions League qualifiers after a 4-0 defeat to Osijek.

The Osijek team completely dominated the entire match. They deservedly advanced to the final of the qualifying tournament being played in Sarajevo. They will compete for a place in the next round of qualifiers against the Ukrainian team Vorskla Poltava.

Goals for the Croatian team were scored by Lorena Balić in the 15th and 19th minutes, Maja Joščak in the 62nd minute, while Amira Spahić, captain of the Sarajevo team, scored an own goal in the 34th minute.

This marks the end of the Bosnian and Herzegovinian representative's participation in the Women's Champions League qualifiers. SFK 2000 will play their next match in the Women's Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina against SFK Libero.
