SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Works are underway in Wilson's Promenade on the repair of existing benches. These are seating parts that have been worn out for years, and were also missing in several locations. Workers of KJKP „Park“ have removed the damaged slats, which will be returned to the existing benches after sanding and painting.
Following the easing of measures by crisis headquarters, which were adopted in the previous period to curb the spread of the coronavirus, this most popular promenade in Novi Sarajevo, on days when it is allowed, is full of walkers, children, and the elderly.
The Municipal Civil Protection Headquarters appeals to citizens to continue to adhere to the prescribed measures, by wearing protective equipment and respecting the prescribed distances, especially when staying in Wilson's Promenade.
As a reminder, the Municipal Civil Protection Headquarters procured three disinfection tunnels in the previous period in order to combat the coronavirus pandemic, one of which was placed in Wilson's Promenade, given that the nice weather has drawn a larger number of citizens to this promenade.
