Appeal Repeated to Schmidt for Removal of Bradara and Vlaisavljević

(Patria) - In a joint statement, the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide and the Citizens' Association of War Victims "16. April" Ahmići have again submitted a request for the removal of Lidija Bradara and Sanja Vlaisavljević.

"We welcome the resolution of the EU Parliament and the condemnation of the statement by convicted war criminal Dario Kordić, who said he would 'do it all over again' regarding the crimes for which he was convicted at the ICTY in The Hague.

We have also addressed other EU and international institutions, from which we still expect them to follow the example of the EU Parliament. The amendment by Mr. Klemen Grošelj, Tineke Strik and Dietmar Köster was passed in the EU Parliament by an overwhelming majority of 526 votes in favor, 43 against and 62 abstentions, while those who voted against and abstained are those who in BiH implement policies of denial of crimes and affirm crime and criminals.

Honorable EU parliamentarians, 526 of them called on all political parties, especially members of the government in BiH, to clearly distance themselves from the statement of war criminal Dario Kordić. They also called on the judicial authorities of BiH to take appropriate legal action.

In this regard, we once again call on the High Representative for BiH to remove Lidija Bradara, President of the Federation of BiH, and Sanja Vlaisavljević, Minister in the Government of the Federation of BiH, who support war criminal Kordić.

We call on all institutions in BiH to urgently act on the Resolution of the EU Parliament, which calls for measures and actions to sanction the activities of this war criminal, as well as his protectors and helpers," the statement said.
